The generally recognized classics of the domestic automotive industry are "Zhiguli". They have been successfully produced at the Volga Automobile Plant for more than 40 years. The model 2101 is the first car in the series and combines the standards of Soviet production and design solutions borrowed from the Italian brand Fiat.
In comparison with its foreign counterpart, the "Penny" had a number of advantages. VAZ-2101 is great for long-distance and off-road trips. Movement on uneven and country roads became possible thanks to the increased clearance and the presence of tow lugs. In case of a long stop and overnight stay, comfortable seats are provided in the car, which transform into sleeping places.
