Pontiac is considered GM's sports division. The company, founded in 1926, has long been in demand due to its characteristics and appearance.
Some of the most memorable car designs of the 1960s include the 1968 Pontiac line from General Motors in the list of the most desirable cars to date. In fact, Pontiac set a sales record in 1968, when 910,977 Pontiac cars rolled off the assembly line. The division also received its fourth Motor Trend "Car of the Year" award, which General Motors highly appreciated.
The 1968 Pontiacs underwent a minor cosmetic facelift. The taillights have been redesigned and additional safety features have been added, including an energy-absorbing steering column.
Pontiac Bonneville was distinguished by a magnificent appearance, a 340 hp V8 engine, as well as exceptional driving comfort. This 4-seater convertible with a hard roof proved to be very popular.
