Although the car has already crossed the half-century anniversary, it remains a real confirmation of the reliability and durability of the German automotive classics. From the moment of its appearance, the car attracted motorists with a completely new design concept for that time, created by the famous French car designer Paul Braque. Thanks to him, the famous Strich Acht (as many car owners called the W114) had vertical headlights, which became a real sensation. The harmony of the body lines is emphasized by chrome moldings, making its silhouette swift without a touch of aggressiveness, and the company logo on the hood added recognition. The interior trim made it possible to feel like the owner of a business class car. Textile inserts disappeared from the upholstery of the leather seats, the front panel was decorated with natural wood.
