A model that once earned international recognition. Production started in the 60s of the last century, and even then the car was favorably distinguished by its modernity and reliability. Its technical feature was the presence of an automatic transmission and an aluminum overhead valve engine, which was a novelty in the USSR.

Due to its stylish and recognizable appearance, the GAZ-21 was often involved in the filming of domestic films. Elegant streamlined body shapes, a body with additional chrome decorations, as well as the famous deer located on the hood, were the hallmark of the car. In a number of released models, the hood decor was replaced with a safer atraumatic "drop". Now the Volga belongs to one of the most popular and sought-after oldtimers, which in terms of its comfort and spaciousness is still not inferior to a number of cars of other common brands.
