The 2015 G-class retains its iconic and distinctive box shape. There are two round headlights at the front, framing the radiator grille with a large three-pointed star; yellow turn indicators sit on the flat front fenders. A closed spare wheel dominates the rear, highlighted by small rectangular taillights. The optional Edition Select package adds a few AMG touches, such as silver-painted wheels, AMG fenders, carbon fiber side moldings and side exhaust pipes. Edition Select G550 comes in three color options: Black, Arctic White and Iridium Silver.

Today, the G-Wagen can be equipped with many luxury items that can be found in the entire Mercedes-Benz line, such as electric and heated front seats, wood trim, leather, navigation, automatic climate control and premium Harmon Kardon sound. The new Edition Select package gives a special look thanks to Designo's two-tone black/porcelain upholstery with contrasting stitching, Designo floor mats, black piano lacquer finish and illuminated door sills.

The 2015 Mercedes-Benz G550 comes with eight airbags, including dual front, dual front side and side curtain airbags for front and rear passengers. Also included as standard are fog lights with corner lights, windscreen wipers with rain sensors, four-wheel disc brakes with ABS, emergency braking assistance system, tire pressure monitoring system and electronic stability control. The Hyundai is also equipped with an electronic four-wheel clutch system for extra grip and control on dirty or slippery roads.
